“This is a new MUST STOP for us!! We drive through Santa Anna about once a month, but turn at the light and seldom actually pass through the town. My son was starving, so I decided to take a chance and see if anything was open for breakfast. We are SO GLAD we did!!

The food was great and the owner is the nicest man!!! Fresh baked kolache breakfast bun and biscuits and gravy!!! It really hit the spot!!

Traveling back home to Austin and with use of reviews, looked up food in surrounding cities on our route, this place stuck out! Someone in reviews said it feels like a homecoming and it cannot be better said. David and Kristy are so welcoming, you feel like family.. amazing service and what great food!!!! I had the pancakes because of the previous reviews and they are the BEST I’ve eaten. my boyfriend raved about the homemade bread of the kolache/breakfast bun where you can also add jalapeños, onions, bell peppers and can really make it your own. Another sweet patron raved about the pizza so we are taking home, and excited to eat it for dinner! Just LOOK at that cheese! Santa Anna TX and travelers, support and take care of this place. It is definitely a wonderful (and tasty!) gem! My boyfriend and I wish yall all the best, thank you Shield Station and we will definitely be back!
